How can I save my marriage?"
Who doesn't dream of a fairy tale "happily ever after"? Happy endings are something we grew up with and aspire for. 5 Simple Steps I Took To Get My Wife Back
If you've recently split with your wife or girlfriend, and it matters not who dumped who. You might have come to the conclusion you want her back.
To get my wife back I used these 5 steps. You could too and if you do you may well get her back quite easily.
Step 1 - I needed a game plan. A plan of action. So I scoured the net for the best I could find.
All roads kept pointing me to two particular ready made guides that definitely looked the part. But would they deliver?
I bought both and one was utter crap, the other "The Magic of Making Up" was ok. I say ok 'cause for me it was full of too much waffle. The good bits were very good though.
Step 2 - I was an emotional train wreck so I heeded the books advice and took a bit of time to get myself in a much stronger emotional state.
I did exactly what the guide suggested and after a while I was feeling much better emotionally. I was ready to get her back.
Step 3 - I went with part of the guide that involved some psychological mind games. This section was one of the eye openers for me.
This psychological trick had me leave a "coded" message on her phone that would (if it worked) get her to call me back. It did work as she was so curious she called back within the day even though I never asked her to.
Step 4 - Another psychological trick here that involved having her favorite song on loud enough for her to hear, if ever she phoned.
After the first time she called she started to call quite often, always the song in the background. She never put it together that I had manipulated her into calling, she believed she had started the make up process.
Step 5 - A few weeks went by and we had quite a few nice phone chats, always her ringing me! I decided to take a gamble and ask her out for coffee.
She said ok and it was plain sailing after this. Coffee turned into a nice meal. Which turned into a proper date. Which then turned into her staying over at mine now and then.
It all ended in her staying over more than not staying, and ending in her moving back in. Six to eight weeks it took to get her back.

5 Things You Can Do Today If You Want to Save Your Marriage
All marriages go through rough patches but if you have been looking for advice on how to save your marriage and finding nothing more than vague tips about learning communication skills, not criticizing, forgiving each other? Well of course, those things can help, but there’s a lot more you can do today to make things better. While some of these steps for how to save a marriage take time, they’re all things you can start doing right now.
Take Some Time Out!
Whether your spouse has just told you they want a divorce or you’ve both been talking about it for a while, a cooling down period will do you both a lot of good. Take about a week to get away from each other and collect your thoughts. This is no time to make a laundry list of your partner's faults, though! Instead, focus on remembering why you fell in love with them in the first place and think through some calm, respectful ways to address the problems when you see each other again.
Work on your own problems!
Yes, you have issues, too. Sorry. And these aren’t just problems between you and your spouse, but issues related to any emotional baggage you brought into the marriage too. If you’re taking a cooling off period, that’s a great time to work on these issues, although you shouldn’t expect to resolve any deep issues in such a short time.
Keep in mind, too, that you need to be careful about assigning blame, especially if your spouse has been violent or verbally abusive. While many therapists who understand how to save a marriage will remind you it “takes two to tango,” don’t start thinking you “made” your partner act a certain way.
Resolve Your Conflicts!
